Waste-bin with pneumatic feed and angled ram

The waste bin has a pneumatic feed (11) and is equipped with a ram (7) which compresses the refuse in a collection area (12). The air which forces the refuse into the collection area is exhausted via a screen (4), an exhaust chamber (3) and an outlet pipe (9a). The ram is sited below the chamber and pushes the waste towards an outlet flap (2), its active rfface being angled so that the bottom edge leads. The outlet is further equipped with an enlarged mouth (10) which can rotate or can pref. slide on a path at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bin. The ram face may be angled at 20 degrees and the chamber may connect to a space (5) between the roof and a parallel screen
