The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for absorbing carbon dioxide by using a carbon dioxide absorbing liquid containing calcium, and more specifically, to a method and apparatus for absorbing carbon dioxide by using a carbon dioxide absorbing liquid containing calcium, which produce a calcium carbonate crystal having low solubility by using a carbon dioxide absorbing liquid containing calcium so as to improve solid-liquid separation efficiency, and accordingly are capable of improving carbon dioxide separation efficiency. According to the present invention, by applying a carbon oxide absorbing liquid containing calcium, calcium carbonate having very low solubility can be produced. In addition, by converting most of liquid calcium to solid calcium carbonate, separation efficiency of solid carbon dioxide and a liquid absorbing liquid, and by separating the liquid absorbing liquid before a reproduction process, costs for vaporization heat and sensible heat of water required for the reproduction can be reduced. Also, the calcium carbonate has low solubility regardless of a temperature, whereby a cooling crystallization process is not additionally required according to the present invention. |
