The wrist-watch strap has an arcuate rigid segment (14) jointed (16) to an extensible segment (15) comprising four guide tubes (19) in two groups which form a first slider (25). Four slightly smaller tubes (20) slide into the ends of the guides (19) forming a second slider (26). The joint (16) is assembled from eyelets (23) and collars (22) mounted on tubular axes which are terminated with nails (28). The inner sliding tubes (20) are secured to the second slider (26) by identical elements (23,28) mounted on a hinge (24). The inner tubes (20) are held in their guides (19) by cylindrical springs. ADVANTAGE - Reliable closure length of strap can be adjusted within limits. Tubes, hinges and eyelets can be mass-produced from brass, steel, light alloy, precious metal or any synthetic material.
