PURPOSE:To attach universal applicability on a device address setting part, and to apply it on a various kinds of input/output control devices, by constituting the device address setting part of a register capable of setting freely the device address on an input/output device based on an instruction from a CPU. CONSTITUTION:By applying a power source on a system, the input/output control part 6, and a channel control part LSI7 of the input/output control device are enabled to be operated. At this time, the initialization of the microprogram of a CPU1 is performed, and the device address is set at a register 31 as the device address setting part. And when the CPU1 outputs the bit of address information of the input/output device to perform input/output control to the input/output device, a device address receiver 2 receives the bit of address information. A comparator 4 compares the device address set at a device address setting part 3, with the bit of address information received by the device address receiver 2, and when coincidence is obtained, a channel control circuit 5 is started up, thereby, the control of the input/output control part 6 is performed. |
