The invention relates to heterocyclic amide derivatives of formula (I),;
wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, n and X are as defined in the description, their preparation and their use as pharmaceutically active compounds.

A compound of the formula (I), wherein n represents 1, 2 or 3; X represents —O— or —CH2—; R3 represents hydrogen, (C1-C2)alkyl or hydroxy-(C1-C2)alkyl; R2 represents hydrogen and R3 represents heterocyclyl; or R2 and R3 form, together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, a 5- to 7-membered saturated carbocyclic ring which is unsubstituted or mono- or di-substituted with fluoro; and R4 represents hydrogen or heteroaryl which is unsubstituted or mono- or di-substituted with (C1-C4)alkyl, (C1-C3)fluoroalkyl or halogen; or a salt of such a compound.
