PURPOSE:A resin composition, obtained by blending polyethylene terephthalate with an epichlorohydrin based rubber and reinforcing filler material, having improved heat and chemical resistance as well as electrical characteristics, etc., and excellent dimensional stability and mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin composition obtained by blending (A) 100pts.wt. copolyester, etc., prepared by copolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate, e.g. (dialkyl) terephthalic acid (terephthalate) and ethylene glycol as principal components and <=40wt% third component, e.g. polyalkylene glycol having 400-20,000 molecular weight, particularly preferably polyethylene glycol, with (B) 5-60pts.wt., preferably 10-45pts.wt. epichlorohydrin based rubber, e.g. epichlorohydrin-ethylene oxide copolymer rubber, etc., and (C) 5-150pts.wt., preferably 10-100pts.wt. reinforcing filler material, preferably glass fibers, as necessary, subjected to surface treatment, etc. |
