PURPOSE:To simplify complicated switching, so far effected through control of a switch, to be bade only through control of a control lever, by a method wherein, by means of outputs from a timer means and a switch means, a display means is brought into an operative state, and during backward movement of a vehicle, confirmation display of vehicle surroundings is effected. CONSTITUTION:A photograph means 1 is a device which photographs vehicle surroundings by means of a television camera, a switching means 3 performs an output to a display means 2 by means of a switching circuit adapted to select a signal. A shift lever 41 of a backward movement position detecting means 4 is mounted directly to a case cover situated to the upper surface of a transmission, and when the upper end of a shift lever 41 is controlled to the backward movement side, the end part on the backward movement side of a shift fork shaft 42 motions a microswitch 48. When the set time of a timer means 5 lapses under the actuating state of the switch 48, an output is increased to H, the switching means 3 performs switching, and the picture signal for vehicle surroundings is guided through the means 3 to display a picture signal by means of a display means 2. |
