PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image through of ink to a prearranged direction without being scattered by applying an electric field between a mesh and a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Ink droplets 11 ejected from a mesh 1 are positively charged because of a pulse voltage applied to the mesh 1, which an electric field is generated in a space between the platen 10 and the mesh 1 due to the application of a voltage between the platen 10 and the mesh 1. Through this electric field, positively charged ink droplets 11 are ejected to a negatively charged recording paper 6. As a result of the application of a Coulomb's force E to the ink droplets in a platen 10 direction under a bubble pressure F, the ink droplets 11 are sent flying in this composite force G direction after correction of their course. That, is the ejection and scattering of the ink droplets 11 in a direction deviated from a prearranged one can be controlled by the Coulomb's force. |
