PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by blending a specific modified polyphenylene ether with a polyamide and specific modified polyolefin is specific amounts, having improved heat and impact resistance as well as dimensional stability and suitable as automobile fenders, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 5-90wt% modified polyphenylene ether prepared by reacting 100pts.wt. polypneylele ether obtained by oxidatively polymerizing one or more phenols expressed by the formula (R<1>-R<4> are H, 1-10C alkyl, etc.) with 0.05-20pts.wt. substituted olefinic compound having a functional group selected from carboxylic acid (anhydride) groups, imide groups, etc., in the molecule in the presence of a radical generating agent with (B) 5-90wt% polyamide, e.g. nylon 5, etc., and (C) 3-40wt% modified polyolefin having one or more functional groups selected from carboxylic acid groups, metal carboxylate groups, etc. |
