PURPOSE:The titled composition suitable as large-sized thin molded articles, air conditioning unit case for automobile, etc., having improved mechanical characteristics and releasability and shortened molding cycle, comprising a polyolefin, vegetable fiber of fibrillated cellulose and a specific amount of a nucleating agent. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition comprising (A) a polyolefin (e.g. PP, propylele-ethylele copolymer, etc.), (B) vegetable fiber consisting essentially of fibrillated cellulose (e.g., fiber obtained by opening and fibrillating oil newspaper, waste paper, etc.) and (C) 0.01-5pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt total amounts of the components A+B of a nuclearing agent (preferably aluminum monohydroxy-di-p-t-butyl benzoate, dibenzylidene sorbitol, silica, talc, etc.). The component A preferably contains a polyolefinic heat bonding resin. |
