The connector according to the invention is characterised by the particular shape and arrangement of the contact means consisting in providing, between the outermost part 1 intended to be connected to an electrical conductor and the opposite outermost part 3 intended to be in contact with the corresponding female plug of the connector, a bent-over (elbowed) tab 6 obtained by cutting out so as to form, by elasticity, a non-return catch after installation. On either side of this tab, the edges are bent over so as to form, transversely, a U, the branches 9 and 10 of which come into abutment on walls provided in the support made of insulating material and to thus limit, to the position required, the penetration of each contact means into its housing provided for this purpose in the insulating support. <IMAGE>
