Programmed switching mechanism

A programmed switching mechanism has a program drum to set various delay times by control contours to actuate timing pawls. The latter scan the contours of a delay time drum. To enable the pref. delay times to be picked, the contours of the drum are designed for coding in a dual system. A common transfer rocker is allocated to all timing pawls. This initiates the engagement of the program drum with its drive, when timing pawls have been swivelled to a release position.
