The method consists in disposing on the path of the light beam a coloured diaphragm with a variable and adjustable aperture which determines the formation of a light spot of constant dimension, but whose intensity of coloration varies according to the degree of opening of the diaphragm, with an even distribution of light over the spot. The device comprises at least one diaphragm consisting of two coloured filters 1, 1a disposed symmetrically with respect to the light beam to be coloured, on which filters there act means for their reciprocal displacement in order to make them occupy any desired reciprocal position, using direct or programmed control. Applications: obtaining scenic interplay and effects; identifying a colour in the paint and colorant industry; in medicine, analysis of the sensitivity of the eye to colours. <IMAGE> |
