PURPOSE:To stabilize a recognizing/deciding action by using a substrate holding no parts to obtain the evaluation data on a monitor area. CONSTITUTION:An operation switch part 31 is set under a monitor area setting mode and a marker which prescribes the fetching position and range of the luminance data is read out of a ROM32 under the control of a CPU22. Then a monitor area is preset to a RAM33. Then an evaluation setting mode is set and the luminance data on the monitor area is read for four unmounted print substrates 13. The mean value of the these luminance data is stored in an evaluation data register in the RAM33 in the form of the evaluation data. Then a check mode is set and the luminance data on the monitor areas of substrates 13 are successively compared with the evaluation data and decided. Thus it is possible to ensure a stable recognizing/deciding action despite the variance caused among patterns of those substrates 13. |
