The invention relates to a method permitting the wearing of a tie with improved facility, rapidity and aesthetic appearance. It comprises a prefabricated knot of frustoconical shape, having two orifices: a large orifice and a small orifice. On the hidden part, the knot is cut vertically over its entire height, and a piece of elastic is affixed to the outside 4 for gripping and its closure. On the front and inside, a second piece of elastic 5 is placed vertically, having the function of the passage of the tie, flattening down, gripping and holding the knot. The desired adjustment and height are obtained by holding the front of the tie and bringing the knot to the neck. The back is then pulled, for tightening.
