The system makes possible the locking by sealing of the CTD sensors of a camera, by using cavities on the bearing faces which receive these sensors 1, 2 each mounted on a board 11A, 12A, the board including parts in relief which will fit into these cavities, or vice versa. The cavities are filled beforehand with a silica-based binder. The operation is carried out on a vertical bench so as to avoid the affect of gravity on the still-liquid binder. Adjustments, by respective positioning of the sensors, are carried out during the setting of the binder by units 11, 12, which, once the adjustments have been carried out, can be parted from the sensors and constitute a tool for adjusting other sensors. The parts in relief are of dimensions determined so as to fit into the cavities and allow clearances of limited amplitude, required for the positioning adjustments. <IMAGE>
