PURPOSE:To prevent a device from being damaged by providing contacts to a supporting body via insulators and arranging an electric current detector to stop a machining head at a point of time when a metallic body connected with a workpiece comes into contact with the supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A contact mechanism 3 is formed as the annular supporting body 3a and steel balls 3d to be the contacts are inserted thereinto via the insulators 3c. Further, the supporting body 3a is joined to suspended cylinders 10a via insulators 10c and suspension mechanisms 10 and the contact mechanism 3 are supported by supporting rings 11 and 13. When a steel plate 8 jumps up after being cut and comes into contact with the supporting body 3a, the electric current detector 16 detects an electric circuit current to actuate an interlock 18. Accordingly, the machining head H immediately stops and the device including the contact mechanism 3, the machining head H, etc., can be prevented from being damaged. |
