PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the titled device by arranging laser beam diffusion material at the opposite side of a laser beam generator with a work to be projected in-between. CONSTITUTION:A protective barrier 5 is provided to the work 4 to be machined with a laser beam at the opposite side to the laser generator 2 and a concave lens 6 is arranged to the front of the protective barrier as the laser beam diffusion material. Further, protective glass 7 is arranged to the front of the concave lens 6 to prevent the fused spatter damage of the lens 6. The laser beam L2 passed through the work 4 is diffused by the protective glass 7 and the concave 6 as a beam L3 and impinges upon the protective barrier 5 and the beam energy is reduced by this mechanism. Even if a beam L1 does not impinge upon the work 4 directly but is projected on the protective barrier 5, the safety to the human body and others is ensured by an interception effect of the concave lens 6. Accordingly, the danger of the laser beam device is solved and its safety is improved by this method. |
