Lockable hydraulic vehicle support

The support is for vehicles, large containers, cranes or working platforms. It comprises a hydraulic ram with locking mechanism for the piston formed by a non-self-locking screwed spindle turning in the cylinder cover, and a nut in the piston. The spindle is coupled to a brake disc lockable by a brake piston. The disc (15) is coupled to a bevel gear (13), which can be driven by a hand-operated pinion, and there is an abutment for the brake piston (19), adjustable in the cover (12) in the direction of piston movement.
