The invention relates to a method for obtaining hollow structures, such as pipes, silos or shelters, according to the main patent 81 21510. The method is characterised in that, when assembling a certain length of hollow structure, corresponding to several longitudinal sections placed end to end, these sections are placed on longitudinal supports intended to prevent friction of the ground against the base of the structure and the said structure is subjected to a prestressing operation with the aid of cables arranged longitudinally, with relative displacement of the sections of the hollow structure with respect to the said supports; rolling or sliding members, for example round concrete-reinforcing bars 6, 7, 8, 9 are interposed between the longitudinal supports L1, L2 and the sections T1, T2, T3 of the structure. <IMAGE>
