PURPOSE:To improve the high-rate discharge characteristic by using tetrahydrofuran (THF) having an acetyl group at least at the position 2 or 3 as the solvent of an organic electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:This cell is constituted of a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and an organic electrolyte; THF having an acetyl group at least at the position 2 or 3 is used as the solvent of the organic electrolyte. That is, THF is modified to have an acetyl group at the position 2 or 3 of THF as shown by Formula I, II. One mol/1 of LiClO4 is used as the solute of the organic electrolyte. Accordingly, the dielectric constant is increased and the high-rate discharge characteristic is improved. |
