An armrest for a motor vehicle, aeroplane or the like, which is arranged adjacent to a seat on an interior trim part, has an adjustment device. To provide a device for longitudinal and vertical adjustment of an armrest which, while having a simple structure, is lightweight and can be accommodated in a space-saving manner, the device comprises a sliding means having a slide rail fixed to the armrest and a guide rail held in position on the interior trim part. The slide rail is arranged displaceably on the guide rail. A locking means for the armrest is provided inside the sliding means. |
