1. A device for locking a translationally movable rod (1) in a body (2), comprising, inside the body (2), a piston (6) which surrounds the rod (1), is pushed away from a position by a spring (10) and is pushed back towards this position by injection of a fluid into a chamber (13) situated on the side of the piston which (6) is opposed to the spring (10), further comprising a sleeve (64), the inner surface of which is a cylinder surrounding the rod (1) ant the outer surface of which has o frusto-conical shape, said sleeve (4) being split parallelly to the axis of the rod (1) and being stationary with respect to the body (2), and comprising locking means which apply the sleeve (4) for one direction of piston (6) movement against the rod (1), thus causing the locking of the rod (1) in the body (2), and which liberate the sleeve (4) for the other direction of piston (6) movement, thus causing the unlocking of the rod (4), characterized in that said locking means comprise several rollers (8) which roll on the sleeve (4) and the axes (9) of which are made integral with the piston (6), the rollers being situated in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the rod (1). |
