PURPOSE:To perform efficiently satisfactory sealing in a device using an industrial robot by forming a nozzle of a flexible brush and providing a nozzle aperture at the center of the nozzle tip. CONSTITUTION:The tip opening 8 of a nozzle 3 provided at the top end of a sealing gun 2 is disposed in contact with a part 6 to be painted, which is the seam of panels 5 of an automotive body, etc. A sealant 9 is supplied into the gun 2 and said gun is successively moved by a control circuit. Even if some positional deviation arises between the nozzle 3 and the part 6, the nozzle 3 is flexible in a two-dimensional direction and therefore the sealant 9 is spread over the entire part of the nozzle and the positional deviation up to about 1/2 size of the outside diameter (l) of the nozzle is permitted. The positional deviation in a three-dimensional direction is permitted by the deflection of the brush itself forming the nozzle 3. The sealant 9 after coating is forced and packed into the seam in the rear part of the advancing direction at the same instant as the above, by which the sealing is completed in one stage.
