<p>The regulating system comprises a socket-type housing (1), a screw-type rotary regulator (2) and a cap (3) which covers this device. It also includes a heating regulation system provided with a collector ring (5). The socket-type housing clips onto the body of a heating unit valve. A threaded portion (13) of the regulator (2) engages at its upper end with a coarse female thread (12) and surrounds a cylindrical transmission element provided with a pressure spring. This element provides the connection between the valve to be closed axially and the temperature sensor (14). Depending on the preset temperature, the rotary regulator is screwed into the female thread (12) over a variable distance. In order to set the ambient temperature, three resistor-heating elements (18) are fixed to the periphery of the regulator and directly heat the temperature sensor. The latter then controls the closure of the valve. The current is supplied by a low-voltage cable (20) to the collector ring (5) which has concentric sliding contact tracks (25, 26) and connection tracks (27, 28). On the sliding contact tracks (25, 26) are located telescopic bars (41, 42) to collect the current. In this way, the danger of a short circuit due to damage of the cable insulation at the rotary connections is avoided.</p> |
