An equipment carrier for electrical busbar systems is described, having a housing (10) and having at least one hook (2) which in each case at least partially engages round a busbar. In order that the new equipment carrier can be matched universally to virtually all currently available busbar systems it is proposed that the hook (2) be capable of insertion into different openings in the base (4) of the housing (10), that the unobstructed separation between the base (4) and that surface of the hook (2) which is essentially parallel to the base and grips the rails can be varied, that a centring part (6, 6') is provided on the underneath of the equipment carrier and has at least one element with stepped depressions (14) which are arranged centrally with respect to the equipment carrier and in the transverse direction of the busbars, and that the width of in each case one depression (14) corresponds to the width of the busbars of in each case one conventional busbar system. <IMAGE>
