<p>An apparatus for processing thermoplastic material includes an upright receiving vessel (1), in the bottom region of which a granulating and mixing tool (2), rotatable about the vessel axis, and a wall opening (1b) for letting out the plastics granules produced in the apparatus and any washing liquid which may be used during processing are arranged, and a plasticising unit (13, 14) for further processing the plastics granules produced in the processing apparatus (1, 2). The wall opening (1b) of the receiving vessel (1) is connected by means of a conveying screw (13, 14), driven by a drive motor (15) at variable speed, to a further plasticising unit (18, 19), such as for example an extruder or an injection-moulding or diecasting machine. <IMAGE></p> |
