Light emitting accessory having a construction wherein when a light emitting element (6) is rotated, its pair of lead terminals (6a), (6b) are interruptedly connected and disconnected to and from first and second electrodes (14), (18) connected to a battery (21) housed within a main body (1). The second electrode (18) consists of a leaf spring and is equipped at its center with a recess (15d) for receiving one (6b) of the lead terminals. The second electrode (18) moves in a radial direction along the inner circumferential wall of a metal ring (8) fitted to a holder (10) made of an insulating material from outside. Therefore, its moving range can exceed the range of its elastic deformation. A stopper (20) is formed on the inner wall of the holder (10) in such a manner that when the light emitting element (6) is rotated, it comes into contact with one (6a) of the lead terminals (6a).
