The invention relates to a concrete machine-tool bed which consists of a supporting body prestressed by tie rods. Guides and other sub-assemblies determining the accuracy of the machine tool are fastened to the supporting body. The aim is to produce a concrete machine-tool bed which permits the manufacture of high-precision processing machines and which can be manufactured with less effort and at a lower cost than previously. To this end, the machine-tool bed is to have a higher static and dynamic rigidity and in terms of construction is to allow for the deliberate utilisation of the thermal advantages of concrete. The guides and sub-assemblies to be attached are to be capable of being mechanically treated as far as possible in the disassembled state. According to the invention, the guides as well as the other sub-assemblies determining the accuracy of the machine tool are fixed in recesses provided in the supporting body (1) and are fastened directly to the supporting body (1) by means of the tie rods (4). The guides have blind holes into which the tie rods (4) are screwed. The tie rods (4) are passed through the supporting body (1) without coming in contact with the concrete. <IMAGE>
