The present invention relates to a timber lorry with a tractor and a steerable trailer. The trailer has a chassis frame and at least one load-bearing bogie fitted thereon. In order in a simple manner also to make possible the axle alignment of two-axle trailers with two steerable axles, there is fitted on the trailer a second load-bearing bogie at a distance in the direction of travel from the first load-bearing bogie. Both load-bearing bogies are designed as a load-tensioning device in that at least one load-bearing bogie is arranged such that it can be displaced transversely to the direction of travel and can be fixed on the frame of the trailer.
