ACTIVE-TYPE RFID TAG APPLIED TO LOGISTICS TRACKING SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION METHOD THEREOF

Provided is a communication method of an active-type RFID tag applied in a logistics tracking system (hereinafter, tag). The communication method comprises: a step of transmitting, at a point when movement of a moving article or a pallet is not detected, movement completion information representing movement completion of the moving article or the pallet to a reader using a communication channel having low battery power consumption; a step of receiving a request message requesting location information of the tag regarding the movement completion information using the communication channel; a step of inactivating the communication channel in response to the request message, activating a positioning channel of which battery power consumption is respectively greater, and transmitting positioning information to the reader using the activated positioning channel; and a step of inactivating the positioning channel when the transmission of the positioning information is completed.
