The present invention relates to an exposure fusion device and a method thereof, and an image processing apparatus using the same. The exposure fusion device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a brightness information obtainment unit for obtaining brightness information of each input image from respective color information of multiple input images; a brightness information synthesis unit for calculating brightness information of an output image by synthesizing brightness information of the input images; an image mixing unit for mixing color information of the input images based on the brightness information of each input image; and a color and chroma information obtainment unit for obtaining color information and chroma information of the output image from the mixed color information. Thereby, a halo effect and a color artifact can be prevented.
