The invention relates to a high-voltage semiconductor contactor for switching relatively high alternating-current loads, which is driven via an optocoupler. The previous switching devices of this type were hybrid switches. The aim is to create a fully electronic semiconductor contactor. The invention consists in that the contactor has n series-connected power blocks (I, II) having in each case two antiparallel-connected main thyristors (A, B), the main thyristors of which with the same sense of direction (A or respectively B) are alternately controlled with triggering transformers (2, 3) integrated in two arms via a rectifier bridge (1), and that the load voltage or a part thereof is connected to the alternating-voltage inputs (AC) of the rectifier bridge (1) and the phototransistor (4) of the optocoupler (5), acting as switch, is applied to the direct-voltage outputs (+, -) of the rectifier bridge (1). <IMAGE> |
