This safety ski binding has a foot plate which is pivotable about a vertical rotation pin and bears a toepiece and a heel holder, the sole holder of which is pivotable upwards counter to the force of a first compression spring. The heel holder has a control lever which bears a roller which is loaded by a second compression spring and, in the event of a turning fall, rolls along a control cam fixed to the ski. The two compression springs are arranged coaxially in the housing of the heel holder, and the outer compression spring, which serves for vertical release, lies on a pressure ring which is supported on an intermediate element. In order to avoid the use of elbow levers and to make the construction of the intermediate element more dimensionally stable, the intermediate element 19 has two side plates which run parallel to one another and between which at least a part of the control lever 20 is arranged, and the intermediate element 19 is supported with a further roller 27 on a catch rocker 23 for vertical release. <IMAGE> |
