Propellant charge case (10) for accommodating loose propellant charge powder, the propellant charge case (10) having a substantially cylindrical external shape and being made up of at least two parts (11, 12, 22, 22') which are relatively rotatable with the outer surfaces of the two parts (11, 12) of the propellant charge case (10) overlapping, characterised by the fact that the propellant charge case (10) comprises a combustible material and that either the overlap zone of the outer surfaces is provided with recesses (13, 13') or the propellant charge case (10) has a cover (22) whereby the propellant charge case (10) is provided, at least on one side, with a double end surface, recesses (21, 20) being provided both in the cover (22) and in the end surface of the propellant charge case (10).</p> |
