Disclosed are a Modbus-Mechatrolink III protocol conversion device and a protocol conversion method therefor. The device comprises a Modbus module, an ARM module and a Mechatrolink III module that are sequentially connected. The Modbus module is connected to a Modbus device and is used for transmitting a message using a Modbus protocol between the Modbus device and the ARM module. The ARM module is used for converting a first message using the Modbus protocol from the Modbus device to a second message using a Mechatrolink III protocol, and for sending the second message to the Mechatrolink III module. The Mechatrolink III module is connected to a Mechatrolink III device and is used for transmitting the message using the Mechatrolink III protocol between the Mechatrolink III module and the ARM module. In this way, a Modbus protocol message and a Mechatrolink III protocol message can be mutually converted in the present invention. |
