PURPOSE:To ensure an extremely high transfer sensitivity, enable printing with lower energy, restrain ground contamination from being generated on a recording sheet such as an ordinary paper and make it possible to obtain a clearer transferred coloring matter image, by using a coloring material comprising a specified glycerol derivative as a coloring material layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one coloring material layer is providing on a base. The coloring material layer comprises at least one specified glycerol derivative of formula I, wherein each of R1-R5, which may be the same different, is OH, formula II or formula III, and R is a 15-30C alkyl. The glycerol derivative may be used either singly or in combination of two or more such derivatives, and may be used in mixture with other heat-fusible substance. The amount of the glycerol derivative is preferably 10-100 wt.% based on the heat-fusible substances incorporated in the coloring material layer. Various heat-fusible substances, without any restriction, can be used in combination with the glycerol derivative. |
