PURPOSE:To contrive an escutcheon which does not come off easily due to the tension of a seat belt by a structure wherein the escutcheon for blocking the slit of a garnish consists of a first and a second shield plates and an intermediate holding part which connects said plates. CONSTITUTION:The center pillar garnish 2 is provided with the slit 6 at its guide part 3 forming a guide passage 5 for the seat belt. The escutcheon 7a for blocking the slit 6 consists of the first shield plate 21, the second shield plate 22 and the intermediate holding part 23 to connect the plates 21 and 22. Holes 25 to engage with the projections 24 of the guide part 3 are provided in the first shield plate 21. Because the widths of the respective shield plates can be made larger enough than the slit, the escutcheon does not come off under the external force to widen the slit. |
