摘要 PURPOSE:To improve durability of a V belt by providing a pulley pressing force adjusting chamber for decreasing V belt nipping force in accordance with rotating speed increase of a driven pulley apart from a pressure compensating chamber for negating centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:Oil pressure corresponding to rotating speed is produced while accompanying the rotation in the forward direction of a driven pulley 26 in a Pitot tube 902. Since said oil pressure is to a line pressure regulation valve to decrease pressure regulating value, the line pressure decreases, accompanying an increase of rotating speed of the driven pulley 26. Since said line pressure is supplied to a driven pulley cylinder chamber 32, the working pressure in the driven pulley cylinder chamber 32 decreases accompanying an increase of rotating speed. The lowering quantity of said working pressure is set to negate the oil pressure caused by centrifugal force remaining due to insufficient compensation by the use of the action of a pressure compensating chamber 910. Accordingly, since the oil pressure caused by centrifugal force can almost completely be compensated, the force for nipping the V belt 24 of the driven pulley 26 is produced as desired, and durability of the V belt 24 can be improved.
