PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet-form molding which is lightweight and has excellent strength, heat resistance and sound absorbing qualities, by expansion-curing and molding a stock soln. contg. a specified polyol, a specified monomer and a specified polyisocyanate into a sheet and compression-molding the sheet with heating. CONSTITUTION:An expandable urethane stock soln. contg. a polyol having at least one vinyl group in the same molecular chain, a monomer reactive with the vinyl group and a polyisocyanate is expansion - cured and molded to obtain a sheet-form material. The sheet-form material is compression-molded while heating or after heating. Example of the polyol are compds. of formulas I-III (wherein R is an alkylene; n is an integer). Examples of the monomer are styrene, methyl acrylate, acrylonitrile, divinylbenzene, diallyl phthalate, etc. |
