PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent stability against premature vulcanization, by blending an acrylate elastomer having air epoxy group with a specified bisphenol compd. and a quaternary ammonium or phosphonium salt. CONSTITUTION:An acrylate elastomer (A) having an epoxy group (e.g., an ethylene/acrylate copolymer elastomer having an epoxy group) is mixed with a bisphenol compd. (B) having an electron-attractive group, represented by formula I (wherein R is carbonyl, sulfonyl or sulfinyl; and n is 1 or 2) or II (wherein R1 is carbonyl; and R2 is carbonyl or oxygen) (e.g., 4,4'- dihydroxybenzophenone or 1,5-dihydroxyanthraquinone) and a quaternary ammo nium or phosphonium salt (C) (e.g., tetraethylammonium bromide or triphenylbenzylphosphonium chloride) to obtain the title vulcanizable compsn. |
