PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of a color developing solution, to reduce its change at the time of successive recessing or the like, and to prevent the rise of fog by incorporating an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic developing solution composition contains the aromatic primary amine color developing agent and the specified compound represented by the formula shown on the right in which R<1> is >=7 C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; each of R<2> and R<3> is H, alkyl, or hydroxyalkyl; and at least one of each of R<1>-R<3> is hydroxyalkyl. This compound is added in an amount of 0.01-50g/l, preferably, 0.1-20g/l. This developing solution composition is superior in stability and color development performance and it can remarkably reduce the rise of the fog at the time of successive recessing or the like. |
