PURPOSE:To melt stick a contact point uniformly and to improve contact point function by providing a recess of a suitable shape to a terminal plate in its suitable place, and limiting the laser energy arriving directly at the contact point through the recess. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of welding a contact point 3 consisting of silver, aluminum and alloy of these to a terminal plate 1 consisting of copper, phosphor bronze, etc., by means of a laser beam 4, a recess 2 which deviates slightly from the center 6 in the weld zone 5 of the contact point and is narrower toward the bottom part is pierced to the plate 1. The inner side surface on the outer side of the recess 2 inclines from the outer side toward the inner side as it goes from the upper surface to the lower surface and of which the inside surface on the inner side is the pierced hole vertical to the front surface. The contact point 3 is superposed on th zone 5, and the beam 4 is irradiated as spot light onto the top surface of the zone 5 toward its center 6. Only some part of the beam 4 enters the recess 2 and the plate 1 melt sticks to the point 3 uniformly around the zone 5. |
