PURPOSE:To enable manufacture and maintenance for an OS nucleus part, and an SRV driver to be performed independently with each other, by performing the initial program loading of the OS nucleus part, and the SRV driver, individually. CONSTITUTION:The titled system is constituted of a boot strap mechanism 1 which starts up an IPL processor 2, the IPL processor 2 which performs an IPL processing, a disk device 3 which stores the OS nucleus part, a disk device 4 which stores the SRV driver, and a main memory device 5. Furthermore, the IPL processor 2 is constituted of an OS nucleus part inquiring means 21, an OS nucleus part storing means 22, an SRV driver deciding means 23, an SRV driver inquiring means 24, an SRV driver storing means 25, the OS nucleus part, and an SRV driver coupling means 26. And by separating the OS nucleus part from the SRV driver, and performing an IPL, the expansion of the OS nucleus part can be suppressed, and also, the independence of the OS nucleus part from the support of the disk device can be realized. |
