<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has excellent discharge characteristics, does not cause clogging of a nozzle, and gives a printed image with excellent definition, water resistance, and light resistance, by using a specified water-soluble dye as its component. CONSTITUTION:0.5-20.0 pts.wt. water-soluble dye of formula I [wherein R1 is OH or (substituted) amino; R2 is H, OH or (substituted) amino; M is H, an alkali metal, a quaternary ammonium, a basic amine or ammonium; Ar is an (un)substituted) aryl; m is 0 or 1; n is 1 or 2; A is a group of formula II or III] and, if necessary, an antiseptic and mildewproofing agent, a rust preventive agent, a water-soluble ultraviolet absorber, etc., are dissolved in 100 pts.wt. solvent component comprising water and 5-80% water-soluble organic solvent (e.g., diethylene glycol), and the pH of the solution is adjusted to 9.0-11.0 by adding pH modifier thereto.</p> |
