PURPOSE:To remove sudden changes such as deceleration, acceleration, etc. at the time of operating and to prevent the defective operation in recording, reproducing and erasing based on mechanical vibration by consisting of a clamp mechanism and an optical head which irradiates a light beam to the optical card with moving in a direction of the diameter of a rotation and executes recording and reproducing information concentrically or spirally. CONSTITUTION:An optical card 22 is put on a turntable 18, which is made to drive with rotating in a specified direction after executing positioning of a said optical card 22 with a clamp mechanism. The optical card 22 is made to rotate in the specified direction with the rotation of the turntable 18 without moving slipping from the turntable 18. And an optical head 40 is made to move in the direction of the radius of the turntable 18 and irradiates the light beam to the information track of the optical card 22 so as to execute recording and/or reproducing of the information. Since the record, reproduction and/or erasion of the information can be executed while the optical card 22 is made to rotate in the same direction, the sudden changes such as deceleration, acceleration, etc. are removed at the time of operating and the defective operation in the recording, reproducing and erasing based on the mechanical oscillation doesn't occur. |
