PURPOSE:To stabilize surface potential by inserting a filter for selectively transmitting light in a prescribed wavelength region between a destaticizing light source and a photosensitivie body. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical photosensitive body 1 is obtained by heating an As-Se alloy containing 36wt% As to 440 deg.C in a vacuum of 4X10<-6>Torr, evaporating it, and depositing it on the surface of an Al cylinder controlled to 210 deg.C to form an As-Se type photosensitive layer having a film thickness of 60mum. The electro-photographic device is obtained by arranging around the photosensitive body 1 in the rotation direction as shown with an arrow, an electric charger 2, an exposure light source 3, a developing device 4, a transfer section comprising a transferring member 5 and a transfer charger 6, and a cleaning device 7 in these order, and further installing a destaticizing power supply 8 opposite to the surface of the photosensitive body 1, and inserting the filter 9 transmitting the light in the 450-630mum wavelength region, and a slit 10 between both. |
