<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of sheet stocks by detecting a two dimensional temp. distribution in the width and longitudinal directions of a sheet stock being in a transfer and adjusting an injection angle of nozzles and a transferring speed of the stock based on detected results. CONSTITUTION:A width direction temp. distribution detector 5 for a sheet stock 11 is installed between a rolling mill 2 and a leveler 3 and a pulse generator 15 is mounted on the rotation shaft of a roller 1a. By such a mechanism, a position of the stock 11 is recognized momently through pulse counts of the pulse generator 15. When the stock 11 passed through the mill 2 reaches a sheet stock detector 14, the position of the stock 11 is recognized through pulse counts of the generator 15 and a two dimensional temp. distribution of the stock 11 is detected by the detector 5. Then, an injection angle of injection nozzles 13 and the transferring speed of the stock 11 are accurately adjusted based on the above temp. distribution. In that method, the cooling effect is uniformized and the sheet stock quality is improved.</p> |
