PURPOSE:To prevent a play of an optical disk by providing a retainer supporting a peripheral face of an optical disk, containing the disk, equipped with a reaf spring abutting agent the peripheral face of the optical disk and a case having a projection pressing the reaf spring onto the peripheral face of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION:The titled cartridge is constructed by combining a retainer 2 supporting the peripheral face of an optical disk 1 and containing it, with a case 3 storing the retainer 2, and providing reaf spring 4 at the inner periphery of the retainer 2 and a projection 5 at the bottom of the case 3. Further, the retainer 2 is provided with a throughhole 8 penetrated through the projection 5. In supporting and holding the optical disk to the optical disk cartridge, the retainer 2 storing the optical disk 1 is loaded from the insertion hole 3a of the case 3. When the tip 6 of the retainer 2 aproaches the bottom 7 of the case 3, the tip of the projection 5 provided at the bottom 7 of the case 3 is penetrated at first through the throughhole 8 provided to the tip 6 of the retainer 2 and then the tip of the projection 5 is abutted against the free end of the reaf spring 4. Thus, the play of the optical disk in the cartridge is eliminated and the damage of the optical disk is prevented. |
