A coupling arrangement with built-in ventilation functions, in particular for medical use or laboratory use, comprises two matched coupling halves 1, 2 which can be connected to one another and separated from one another, and a valve body 3 arranged movably in one coupling half. Both coupling halves are provided with at least one connection 1g, 1i, 2f and the movable valve body 3 can be adjusted between at least one first position, in which it opens at least one flow path 1h, 3b, 2g between the connections when the coupling halves are connected to one another, and at least one second position, in which it closes said flow path at least when the coupling halves are separated from one another. According to the invention, one coupling half 1 is a male part and the other coupling half 2 is a female part provided with an inner cavity 2c and, arranged centrally therein, a pivot 3g which supports the valve body 3 rotatably. The coupling halves 1, 2 delimit at least one flushing space 2c, 2cl, 3e around the valve body 3 when they are connected to one another and the valve body 3 closes said flow path 1h, 3b, 2g. The flushing space 2c, 2cl, 3e can be cleaned by feeding suitable flushing liquid into one connection 1g of one coupling half 1, through the flushing space 2c, 2cl, 3e and out through a second connection 1k of the same coupling half 1. <IMAGE> |
